Craniosacral Therapy & Cupping in Santa Fe

Gentle Bodywork for Deep Healing + Nervous System

Targeted treatment for pain, dysfunction, and nervous system regulation

This treatment approach works with both the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system to address tension, improve mobility, and support overall function. Techniques are selected based on how your body presents at the time of your session.

Craniosacral Therapy uses gentle, hands-on contact to work with the central nervous system and fascial network, helping to reduce tension, regulate stress responses, and address underlying contributors to pain and dysfunction.

Cupping Therapy uses controlled suction to increase circulation, reduce muscle tightness, and improve tissue mobility—particularly effective for areas of restriction, soreness, and limited range of motion.

Both modalities support the body’s connective tissue and regulatory systems, helping you move more freely, recover more efficiently, and feel more at ease in your body.

Your treatment is determined at the time of your session.
Based on your symptoms and goals, you may receive craniosacral therapy, cupping, or a combination of both. When combining treatments, a 60-minute session is recommended to allow for more complete and effective results.

Common reasons clients seek this work:
Pain and tension, restricted mobility, headaches or TMJ, stress-related symptoms, recovery from training, and ongoing or unresolved physical discomfort.

Restore balance. Release what you’ve been holding. Reconnect with your body’s wisdom.

Craniosacral Therapy & Cupping

Two distinct treatment modalities, selected based on how your body feels at the time of your session. You may choose craniosacral therapy, cupping, or a combination of both depending on your symptoms, goals, and areas of concern.

Craniosacral Therapy

A gentle, hands-on treatment that works with the nervous system and fascial system to reduce tension, regulate stress responses, and support deeper restoration throughout the body.

You might choose this if you are experiencing:

  • Stress or nervous system overload
  • Headaches or TMJ tension
  • Chronic tension patterns
  • Fatigue or a sense of being out of balance
  • Physical discomfort that feels deeper than muscle tightness alone

Cupping Therapy

A more targeted, muscular approach that uses controlled suction to increase circulation, release tissue restriction, and reduce localized tightness and soreness.

You might choose this if you are experiencing:

  • Muscle tightness or soreness
  • Restricted mobility or stiffness
  • Post-workout tension
  • Localized pain or muscular discomfort
  • Areas of myofascial restriction

Dr Majid Mubeen, dom

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy + Chinese Medicine

Dr Majid Mubeen graduated from the University of Pennsylvania studying entrepreneurship, organizational behavior and human relationships. Towards the end of school, he was exposed to somatic therapy for trauma regulation and profoundly touched by its ability to address the deep issues held in the body—and the powerful link between emotional and physical trauma via the nervous system. He witnessed how so many root issues naturally unwind when we create space for the body's innate wisdom to emerge.

This experience led him to study somatic touch therapy and biodynamic Craniosacral work, learning to support the body's gentle self-healing process. He went on to become a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, bringing the diagnostic depth and energetic understanding of Chinese medicine to his hands-on work. While he maintains a private practice offering acupuncture and Chinese medicine, his work at Railyard Fitness is focused exclusively on Craniosacral Therapy - a profound, subtle form of bodywork.

Dr Majid views healing as a partnership between practitioner and client, where his role is to listen deeply and create the conditions for the body to release what it's been holding. His approach honors both the physical structure and the energetic patterns that shape our health, offering care that is compassionate, intentional, and rooted in trust of the body's natural intelligence.
