Why Our Equipment Looks Different — On Purpose
When we were deciding what kind of equipment to bring into Railyard Fitness, we started with a simple but important question: What are our members’ goals, and what type of movement actually delivers the best results?
While seated machines are easy to use, they often don’t translate to real-life strength. In everyday movement, we rarely isolate a single muscle group—your whole body works together when you’re picking up a grocery bag, climbing stairs, or pushing your grandchild on a swing.
That’s why when you walk into Railyard Fitness, you won’t see rows of machines lined up like a traditional gym. Instead, you’ll find functional, versatile equipment designed to support full-body movement. We’re stocked with resistance bands, balance balls, free weights, TRX straps, boxing bags, and more.
Yes, we have cardio equipment (we carry Matrix) and a few essential seated machines—but our space is built for movement that matters. Our equipment is compact, adaptable, and intentional—chosen to support resistance training and functional fitness that gets real results.
When you join our gym, we offer a complimentary equipment review and instruction. We are always available to help you figure out an exercise that will help you with your fitness. Just ask!
Our equipment is commercial quality and well maintained.
